Matthew Henry, the great puritan expositor and preacher once said, “I think it is so necessary that if I should die in the pulpit, I would desire to die preaching repentance, and if out of the pulpit I would desire to die practicing it.”
This week’s sermon audio from SABC focusses on this very topic of repentance in a pretty remarkable passage where Jesus takes the people’s questions over a natural disaster and a brutal act of war and personalises the challenge with a call for repentance.
This is the first sermon in part two of Pastor Liam Garvie’s series on Luke’s Gospel entitled, “The Perfect Prescription”.
