One of the best and most exciting elements of our ministry here in St Andrews is that it is so transitional. SABC is such a sending base and we like to think that those who come to worship with us over a certain period will grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus through biblical expository preaching, that they will leave having been thoroughly equipped with the Gospel and unashamedly ready to proclaim Jesus with their mouths in whatever part of the globe he calls them to.
Listen in to Pastor Liam Garvie as he sends off a number of final year students with some wisdom from Scripture and from Mark Dever’s book, What is a Healthy Church?

Are you wasting your life? For some, that’s not an easy question to answer, so let me pose another… have you wasted your week? Have you spent your time well, have you used your resources well, have you loved God and neighbour well? Let me break it down even more… did you waste yesterday? The reason I break it down like that is because I believe in the most simple terms that a wasted life is made up of wasted days. Are you wasting your life?
Listen in to Pastor Liam Garvie as he challenges us to consider this question in the light of Luke 19:11-27 where Jesus teaches that he is giving us the Gospel and we’re to put it to work.

The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost! This is what we see in Jesus’s encounter with Zacchaeus. In this passage we get to see the outworking of salvation in which we see providence at work in making the encounter possible, grace at work making the enounter profitable, and repentance at work making the the transformed life possible.
